RUCK FOR A CURE
We have Completed our Ruck For a Cure and are arriving at China Beach, San Francisco CA this morning at 10 am!
On behalf of Ruck For A Cure, we would like to thank you for visiting our website and seeing what our project is all about. We have quickly realized that this mission would not be possible without the wonderful people out there that appreciate its full potential.
Please understand that Anything you can do for this cause will never be forgotten and will bring us one step closer in the fight against Cancer.
Below you will find the concept of our operation and hopefully gain a little insite as to why we believe our organization is worth the time and attention you have already put forth.
Facts and figures taken from the American Cancer Society show that not only is cancer the second most common cause of deaths in the United States, but that over 577,000 Americans will die in the year 2012 alone.
THIS IS AN OUTRAGE.
To the brave men and women who have paid the ultimate price or are currently fighting this terrible disease…..you are not alone.
Ruck For A Cure dedicates its mission to you.
February 04, 2013. (World Cancer Day). This will be the day we attack. Three Combat Veterans will say goodbye to the military and set there sights on a different type of enemy. From Myrtle Beach South Carolina, to San Francisco California. Nothing stands between us but 3,000 miles of battlefield and a disease that needs some serious attention.
Armed with the boots on our feet, and the rucks on our back. This battle will take the better half of a year and will end with our goal of $50,000 raised toward cancer research and awareness. Upon completion of our trek across the America, we will be honored with the oportunity to give all donations to St. Jude Childrens research hospital.
The only problem we still face is the size of our Army…
The first step we need from you is spreading the word. We need this Army to grow as much as possible in order to be successful. Thank you in advance for anything you can do.
Remember: Anything you can do to help, will not only get us on our feet,
but will get us………….One Step Closer
